Note: Students must have completed Wheel Throwing 101 prior to registering and be able to center clay independently, pull walls without hands on assistance and trim basic forms comfortably. This class is not suitable for first time wheel throwing students

This two part intermediate workshop is designed for students who are ready to move beyond basic cylinders and begin refining craftsmanship, consistency, and design intention in mug making. This workshop focuses on creating balanced, functional mug forms with thoughtful proportions, intentional curves, and well designed handles. Once your creation is bisque-fired, seize the opportunity to unleash your creativity by painting your very own pottery masterpiece.
